Phenom Digest #6: Development Updates and Frequently Asked Questions

Welcome back to the Phenom Digest, edition No. 6! In this issue, we'll talk about development updates, the increased growth of the site and price of $PHNM and we'll answer some of the most frequently asked questions we see from the community.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why are tournaments taking so long?

In short, we want to do it right. We're doing everything from scratch, so it does take longer to develop. We could have chased short-term revenue gains, taken an easier route and licensed 10-year-old software that was unreliable and not built for the long-term, but that's not who we are. We want to produce a best-in-class product that separates us from the competition. We are very close to starting a rigorous testing period, after which we will announce tournament launch and details.

I keep hearing "refactor," what does that mean?

We're redesigning the interface, the look and feel of the tables. To take the words straight from our developer's mouths, it's being designed more like a game as opposed to a website. Everything from chip positioning to card alignment, swipe-to-switch tables to sound improvements are being made. This is all currently in testing and is expected to release very soon.

What else is being worked on?

Understanding that tournaments are our No. 1 priority, we do have a couple of major features to add afterwards. In no specific order, we will be adding Chinese Poker and Custom Games. Imagine having your own Phenom Poker room that only your friends or your select group of players can access. We plan to give the admins control of the games and stakes offered, providing you a safe, fun place where you can host your online game, without all the riff-raff.

Will you be accepting credit card payments soon?

Not in the forseeable future, as there are many legal issues involved. Fortunately, it's never been easier to deposit on Phenom Poker, as we've added the ability to deposit using over 18 different currencies on a number of different networks, and we do all the bridging for you! Don't see the currency you want to deposit in? Ask us to add it!

Phenom By The Numbers

Unique Token Holders: 1,191
Lifetime Revenue: $942,206
Current PHNM Value: $0.65 (as of Mon, Mar. 3)

The Rising Value (And Cost) Of $PHNM

The beauty of Phenom Poker is that as the site grows and revenues rise, you directly benefit. The price of $PHNM has risen 140.74% in the last five weeks, from 0.27 up to the current 0.65 level. That means 1000 tokens that were worth 270 USDT on December 23, 2024 are worth 650 USDT today. That also means as the price rises, it won't be as easy to acquire a large sum of tokens. Seeing the current growth combined with the features on the horizon, you'll likely never have a chance to get $PHNM at this price again.

You Asked, We Listened

As we develop new features, we often look to our community for direction. Two of the features we're most asked about is a better chat functionality and the ability to adjust sounds. You asked, we listened, and these two new features will be rolling out with our upcoming table refactor (currently in testing).
