As we move through the summer months, our team at Phenom Poker has not been sitting still. We are rolling out several exciting additions and format shifts in the coming weeks to better serve our community, especially our Mixed Game players.
Here is a look at what is coming to the Phenom Poker tournament lobby next month:
Introducing the "Sunday Mixer"
For our Mixed Game players, Sunday is about to get much more interesting. We are thrilled to announce a brand new marquee event: The Sunday Mixer.
- Launch Date: Sunday, August 9th
- Format: 9-Game Mix
- Buy-in: $200
- Satellites: Daily qualifiers kick off on Monday, August 3rd.
Our goal with the Sunday Mixer is simple: we want to build this into the biggest weekly online mixed game tournament in the world. Whether you are a seasoned pro or a rising mixed game enthusiast, this is your new Sunday battleground. The Sunday Mixer will replace our current H.E.R.O.S. Tournament on Sunday.
Don't forget to follow us on social media; we will be giving away 10 tickets for the satellites of the Sunday Mixer between August 3rd and 15th!
PKO Schedule Updates
We know the community loves Progressive Knockout (PKO) formats. Keep an eye on the lobby—you will start seeing PKO formats integrated into some of our most popular daily and weekly events from August onwards.
A Revamp of our Freeroll Schedule
We understand that learning Mixed Games takes time. Throwing beginners straight into multi-game formats in our daily freerolls can make the learning curve a bit too steep.
At Phenom Poker, we want to promote poker in all its formats and games, giving beginning players the right environment to learn, practice, and build their bankrolls. To support this, we are significantly expanding our freeroll offering:
- More Value: We are increasing our daily freerolls from 3 to 5 per day. That means jumping from 21 freerolls a week to a massive 35 freerolls per week.
- Weekday Focus (Single Format): During the week, our 25 USDT freerolls will be single-format only. This allows beginning players to focus on mastering one game at a time.
- The Weekend Grind: From Friday till Sunday, we will run 50 USDT daily freerolls featuring both Mixed Games and single formats.

Silver Freerolls: Built for the Phenom Community
Historically, our Silver Freerolls have been exclusively No Limit Hold'em. However, Phenom Poker is home to a massive community of Omaha and Mixed Game players.
Going forward, the Silver Freerolls will feature a variety of different formats. We want these events to actually reward the players who are grinding on the site, and that means giving you freerolls in the games you actually love to play.
