This time around, we’re featuring JoshTooSavvy, a Lakes Region grinder out of New Hampshire who isn’t afraid to look you up or fire back when he senses weakness. Josh recently made a final table run in the Phenom Stream Team Throwdown, and if you’ve tangled with him before, you already know he doesn’t give away pots for free.

Primarily an NLH player with some PLO mixed in, Josh plays a straightforward but stubborn game. He’ll call you down, he’ll test your story, and he’s perfectly fine putting you in uncomfortable spots. Away from the table, he’s balancing poker with real life as a CNC machinist, fiancé, and dad to a 5-year-old — which makes the poker table his version of relaxing.

What drew you to poker: A friend of mine brought me to a free roll when I wasn't even old enough to be in the casino. I never won so it was never a problem.
