Phenom Poker rolled out a series of platform updates this week aimed at making the playing experience smoother, more intuitive, and more transparent.
One of the most noticeable changes comes with the Sit Out button on cash tables. Previously tucked away in the top-right hamburger menu, it’s now placed prominently in its own position at the top right of the table for easy access. Its functionality hasn’t changed, but players will only see it when they are “Sitting In” it won’t appear if you’re already Sitting Out or observing a table.
Several improvements were also introduced across the platform. At High Stakes tables, players can now view full names in the info modal by clicking on a player’s nameplate, and those names will also appear in the chat. To preserve table layout, nameplates will still abbreviate full names to fit properly. The update also addressed action and status indicators, ensuring labels like “last to act” no longer disappear too quickly but instead display and fade smoothly.
Antes have been given more visibility as well, now appearing in brackets right after the stake information both in the lobby and on the tables themselves. For example: Eternal Realm 6max 2K / 4K (500). Additionally, alias names will now respect the player’s original capitalization, adding a personal touch to table presentation.
The update also included several important bug fixes. In Hand Histories, antes are now displayed, the order of hands has been corrected, and stake formatting uses shorthand notation. For tournaments, elimination and winning modals have been fixed so that all players see the correct artwork and information when leaving or winning an event. In cash games, an issue with joining tables due to out-of-sync state has been resolved.
Finally, the Referrals Dashboard received attention, with week filters now aligned to the adjusted weekly cycle (starting Monday midday GMT), along with corrected tier reward messaging for Bronze Tier players.
These improvements continue Phenom Poker’s commitment to refining gameplay and enhancing the overall experience for its community.
