What is a passkey?
A passkey is a modern, phishing-resistant login method that uses your device's built-in security (Touch ID, Face ID, Windows Hello, etc.) to verify your identity.
How to set up a passkey
- Log in to your Phenom Poker account
- Go to Settings > Security
- Select Set Up Passkey
- Follow the on-screen prompts to register your device's biometric authentication
- Confirm the setup by completing a biometric scan
How login works with a passkey
Once set up, you'll be prompted to use your passkey after entering your email OTP. Simply scan your fingerprint or face to complete the login — no need to open an authenticator app.
Good to know
- Passkeys are device-specific. If you switch phones or computers, you may need to set up a new passkey on the new device
- You can use a passkey alongside 2FA for maximum security
- Passkeys are supported on most modern browsers and operating systems
