Mixed Games Rules
A mixed game deals several poker games at one table, one after another. Each game plays a set number of hands, then the table moves to the next game in the rotation. When the last game finishes, the rotation starts again from the top.
Every hand plays by the rules of the game being dealt. The sections below explain how the rotation and the stakes work, then list the games in every Phenom mix, in order.

How a hand plays
- Limit Holdem: fixed-limit Texas Hold’em.
- Stud 8/b: seven-card stud high-low, eight or better.
- Razz: stud where the lowest hand wins, aces low.
- Limit Omaha 8/b: fixed-limit Omaha high-low, eight or better.
- Seven Card Stud: fixed-limit stud, best high hand wins.
Stakes
Every round is fixed limit at the table’s small bet and big bet. Hold’em and Omaha rounds post blinds of half the small bet and half the big bet, so the big blind equals the small bet. The stud rounds have no blinds: everyone posts the table’s ante and one player posts the bring-in.
At Phenom
- No round is capped; fixed-limit betting already limits every bet.

- PLO: pot-limit Omaha (capped in 8-Game Mix).
- Limit Holdem: fixed-limit Texas Hold’em.
- Stud 8/b: seven-card stud high-low, eight or better.
Stakes
The table is set in fixed-limit stakes. Fixed-limit Hold’em, Omaha and draw rounds post blinds of half the small bet and half the big bet. The no-limit Hold’em and PLO rounds post blinds of a quarter of the small bet and a quarter of the big bet, and each blind also posts an ante equal to its blind. The stud rounds use the table’s ante and a bring-in instead of blinds.
Example: at 2/4, the fixed-limit flop and draw rounds post 1/2 blinds, and the NL and PL rounds post 0.50/1 blinds, with the small blind adding a 0.50 ante and the big blind a 1 ante.

- Badugi: triple draw where the lowest four-card hand of all different suits and ranks wins.
- Badeucy 2-7: triple draw, the pot splits between the best badugi and the best 2-7 low.
- Stud 8/b: seven-card stud high-low, eight or better.
- Dramaha 2-7: half to the best Omaha hand, half to the best 2-7 low from your hole cards.

- Limit Omaha 8/b: fixed-limit Omaha high-low, eight or better.
- 2-7 Triple Draw: fixed-limit deuce-to-seven lowball, three draws.

Stakes
The table is set in fixed-limit stakes. Fixed-limit Omaha and draw rounds post blinds of half the small bet and half the big bet. The pot-limit Omaha rounds post blinds of a quarter of the small bet and a quarter of the big bet, and each blind also posts an ante equal to its blind. The stud rounds use the table’s ante and a bring-in instead of blinds.
At Phenom
- Both pot-limit rounds are capped. The cap in force shows in the game name on the table.

How a hand plays
- No Limit Holdem: no-limit Texas Hold’em.
- PLO: pot-limit Omaha.
- Dramaha High: fixed limit; half to the best Omaha hand, half to the best five-card high hand from your hole cards.
- No Limit Holdem: no-limit Texas Hold’em again.

- 6 Card PLO 8/b: six-card pot-limit Omaha high-low, eight or better.
Stakes
Because one round is fixed limit, the table is set in fixed-limit stakes. The Dramaha round posts blinds of half the small bet and half the big bet. The no-limit and pot-limit rounds post blinds of a quarter of the small bet and a quarter of the big bet, and each blind also posts an ante equal to its blind.
At Phenom
- No Limit Holdem appears twice in the rotation, so it is dealt for two turns each time around.
- No round is capped unless the table sets a cap, which then shows in the game name.

How the rotation works
- Each game plays a set number of hands, then the table moves to the next game in the list. After the last game the rotation goes back to the first.
- At cash tables each game plays as many hands as the table has seats: 6 hands at a 6-max table, 7 at a 7-max table. Heads-up tables play 6 hands per game.
- Every hand dealt counts toward the game’s total, however many players are seated.
- Phenom’s own mix tables don’t all start on the first game. Each table starts at its own point in the rotation and then follows the listed order. A table you create yourself starts on your first game.
- Every hand plays exactly by the rules of the game being dealt, including its betting structure, its deal and how the pot is won.
How stakes carry between games
A Phenom mix has one set of stakes, and each game converts them into its own betting. How depends on what the mix contains.
- Mixes with any fixed-limit game are set in fixed-limit stakes: a small bet and a big bet.
- Fixed-limit Hold’em, Omaha and draw rounds post blinds of half the small bet and half the big bet, so the big blind equals the small bet. At 2/4 the blinds are 1/2.
- No-limit and pot-limit rounds in those mixes post blinds of a quarter of the small bet and a quarter of the big bet. At 2/4 the blinds are 0.50/1. Each blind also posts an ante equal to its blind, so at 2/4 the small blind adds 0.50 and the big blind adds 1.
- Stud rounds have no blinds. Everyone posts the table’s ante and one player posts the bring-in, and betting uses the small bet and big bet. The ante is only posted in stud rounds in these mixes.
- Mixes made only of no-limit and pot-limit games use the table’s blinds in every round, and the table’s ante, if it has one, in every round.
Capped rounds
Some no-limit and pot-limit rounds are capped. A cap is the most each player can put into the pot in one hand. Once you have put in the cap, you are all-in for that hand.
A capped round shows its cap in the game name on the table, for example PLO · Cap 40BB. The cap is usually measured in that round’s big blind. Most Phenom mixes cap at 40 big blinds and Aria Mix at 100, but the cap in force at your table is always the one shown in the game name.
Fixed-limit rounds are never capped; the fixed bet sizes already limit them.
Games that appear twice
A rotation can deal the same game more than once. AGAME Mix and Blood Mix each deal No Limit Hold’em twice, and Hybrid Mix deals No Limit Hold’em and PLO once uncapped and once capped. Each appearance is its own turn in the rotation and plays its full number of hands.
In rotation lists, a repeated game is labeled with its copy, for example No Limit Holdem (2nd).
Mixes you create
Players at Gold tier and above can use Create a Game to build their own rotation in the Custom Mix tab. A few things work differently from Phenom’s own mix tables.
- A rotation holds 1 to 15 games, in the order you set. The table starts on your first game.
- You can add the same game more than once. Each copy has its own settings.
- Every game has its own stakes and plays exactly like a single-game table at those stakes. Nothing is converted between games, and there are no blind antes.
- Each game has its own optional ante. Stud games need an ante and a bring-in.
- Any no-limit or pot-limit game can be capped, from 20 to 100 big blinds of its own stakes. Fixed-limit games can’t be capped.
- All the games must sit in the same stake range, so a mix can play 1/2 beside 2/4 but not beside 50/100.
- The table header shows the stakes of the game being dealt, and the rotation info lists every game with its own stakes and cap.
Reading the rotation label
At a mixed table, a label in the middle of the table, just below the board when there is one, shows the game being dealt and a counter such as 3/6. The counter means this is the 3rd of the 6 hands this game will play. When the counter reaches its last hand, the next hand switches to the next game, and the label changes to the new game’s name.
If the round is capped, the label includes the cap, for example No Limit Holdem · Cap 40BB. On phones, No Limit is shortened to NL.
These pages describe how games are dealt at Phenom Poker. At every table, Rules in the table menu (the ••• menu on desktop, the menu drawer on phones) shows the short version for the game being dealt, with this table's stakes and limits.
